Site Assessment
The first step in getting started with your project is to schedule a site visit. Our ADU specialist will inspect your property, and will include specific analysis of local jurisdiction requirements, set-backs to property lines, utility hook-ups, access, and site preparation.

Receive an Estimate
You will be sent a formalized quote of your project cost. The quote will be based on the scope of work that is needed for the completion of your project as well as retrofitting to your property. It will contain a breakdown of what is included, the contract terms as well as a payment schedule.

Showroom Tour
Come see the quality that is provided in your build. They look better in person than on the screen. With 4 packages built out showcasing different styles, esthetics, and material you’re able to see exactly what you’re paying for.

Signing the Contract
Our team will work with you on reviewing the details of the contract. We make sure that you are aware of the terms and conditions and are informed of the entire process. Our goal is to make you feel comfortable in signing.
1 WeekSigning the Contract
Pay the Deposit
Once the contract is signed a deposit request of $1,000 will be sent. When the deposit is paid your contract is locked in and we can officially start on your project. A pre-construction manager will be assigned to you.
1 DayPay the Deposit
Architectural Design Phase
Our pre-construction team will guide you through creating your floor plan. An initial floor plan design will be provided which from there revisions can be made. Your manager will be coordinating with our architect and engineer to get your plans finalized and to create a permitting package for submission.
5 WeeksArchitectural Design Phase
Permit Process
Your plans will be submitted to your city or county jurisdiction for approval. Approval is needed from various departments within your jurisdiction in order for the permits to be issued.
12 WeeksPermit Process
Interior Design
Near the approval date for your permits you will be introduced to our designer who will help create your design packaging. They’ll go over the different packages that we offer that include different color schematics as well as different esthetics.
1 DayInterior Design
Site Preparation and Construction
A construction project manager will be assigned to you for the duration of the construction phase. The site preparation process begins once all permits have been issued. The project starts with grading and utilities and is followed by foundation and framing. An inspector verifies that all parts of your build are up to code. Final inspection verifies the completion of your entire project.
12 WeeksSite Preparation and Construction
Hand Off
Our team completes all finishing touches making sure that your ADU is ready for you. Once the unit is wrapped up and cleaned we officially hand off the ADU to you. Whether it's a rental asset, for retiring parents or extra living space we hope that your ADU serves you well. We’re excited to bring your vision to life!
